Progress Notes on My Goals

July - October 2011 - D

I got distracted over the summer and early fall.
1. Family - D Again not many meals or times together. A shame I was chairing the conference so couldn't start the term that A wasn't in school so we set up a pattern of doing things together. He did help by taking my mom to exercise class.
2. Blog - F
3. Sew - C I continued with BL except for October - and finished up some little stitching.
4. House - A - we had cottage cheese removed, new canister lights installed. New posts made and installed in front and back and ceilings painted. Then stopped so we could save money and finish the conference.
5. Exercise - F
6. Yoga - F
7. Read - C. I read several books.
8. Meal - C I made meals before the workers took down the ceilings - taking too long to get back to cooking though.
9. Italian - n/a
10. Photograph - D
11. Bookkeeping - B Got all taxes done and have kept up with the QG - but want to scan papers to get rid of them in the office.

June 2011 - Overall C+
1. Family - not very many meals or times together. D
2. Blog - switched to fitbit - should stick with blogger. F
3. Sew - finished mugrug and I think a few blocks. C
4. House - maintained well had company for a week. C
5. Exercise - while on trips doing a great job of walking. B
6. Yoga - n/a?
7. Read - finished 2 or 3 books and read parts of more. Didn't record them. B
8. Meal - when at home prepared about half of the meals I think. B
9. Italian n/a?
10. Photograph - Used camera for photos - need to set up better online photograph system. C
11. Bookkeeping

May 2011 - overall B- or C+
1. Family B? We had more meals together and did spend Mother's Day together.
2. Blog C - missed days, but now am keeping track of things on fitbit.com
3. Sew B - did some sewing so pretty caught up with my projects - started the reorganization of the sewing room and attended Friday Quilting class. Would like to devote more time to this.
4. House B - did go thru several boxes and did some reorganization of things. I called repair men and handy men to do work on the house - nothing has worked out yet.
5. Exercise D - Did go to the gym a few days. Need to be more regular.
6. Yoga F - I think I need to test out a few other yoga places to find one that is a better fit.
7. Read C - I'm reading but not keeping track.
8. Meal B - I have been making meals at home for most of them.
9. Italian N/A Not doing this now.
10. Photograph C+ Have restarted doing this - but rearranged files on my computer and lost the link to my online album.
11. Bookkeeping B - Have done all up to May - need to scan things to get rid of papers.

April 2011 - overall D or C

1. Family - B-? I'm feeling successful as we went on the little trip, but really we haven't had many meals together. I'm going to keep better track of that.
2. Blog - C - I missed days....
3. Sew - C-? I'm feeling better as I have spent a few days sewing this last week - but didn't do anything except cut the early days
4. House - C I did clean bathrooms, bedroom, living room and kitchen and motivated B to do the floors. Started going thru garage stuff again.
5. Exercise - F All I did was walk around campus.
6. Yoga F I may have gone one time - think I have one more class prepaid.
7. Read F - only read a few times and didn't keep track of it.
8. Meal D - I made a few meals. B is on some diet that I'm trying to figure out.
9. Italian - n/a I quit this class. It was only grammar not conversation. Instead adding yardwork - C I pulled weeds a few times each week and attended a workshop on gardening this month.
10. Photograph - D I missed posting many days.
11. Bookkeeping - B I did enough to file extensions and am caught up for this current year. Still have more to do to be caught up though.

March 2011 - Self Score D. I let my emotions get in the way of getting important things done. I didn't feel under control this month.
1. Family D - we had only a few dinners together this month - no breakfasts. Went out a few times together.
2. Blog C - I did not make daily entries, nor did I do catch up entries.
3. Sew D - I did not sew at all this month, but I did go to the Friday class and did cut a ton of small tumbler blocks.
4. House D - I vacuumed once, cleaned kitchen often, bathrooms a few times. The only new thing that I clearned though was the front entry closet.
5. Exercise D - I don't think I went on the treadmill or anything else this month. I did walk on campus a few times.
6. Yoga D - I went a few times - have one more session prep-paid.
7. Read C - finished reading a book "cartwheels in a sari" by Jayanti Tamm and brought a book with me so I could read on plane, etc.
8. Meal D - I think I only made a few meals from scratch this month.
9. Italian D - I attended class and did homework. I decided though to not take the next set of classes.
10. Photograph F - I was doing pretty well, then attended a birthday dinner and used a real camera for the photos. Since then I have not been doing the photos or if I have I haven't posted them.
11. Bookkeeping C+ - I did do all the monthly entries for QG so I'm up to date. I still have to figure out how to do the personal entries and to get the stuff in order for taxes.

February 2011 - C - I can do better than this!
1. Family D - we didn't have many activities together or times to talk about things that matter.
2. Blog A - Done!
3. Sew A - Done! I would like to really work to finish a quilt during March.
4. House D - had a few days where I did clean - but did not do much clearing out.
5. Exercise D- only did a few times this month.
6. Yoga B - Didn't do regularly, but did start to attend. I have to figure out best times to attend.
7. Read D - I read a little but didn't record.
8. Meal C - Did prepare some meals - need to bump that up. and would like to invite others over too.
9. Italian C - I am not studying alittle every day and have not really worked at speaking
10. Photograph B - Took a photo every day (except for this one) would like to continue the monthly challenge.
11. Bookkeeping C - still have Nov and Dec to finish up - then look at credit cards and record things purchased by Dodge that were for business and other way around. then need to finish up the list of all alternative payments so we have real time information.

January 2011 - Self Score = D
1. Family D - need to prepare more meals and get these guys to do more not eating/TV things together!
2. Blog A - Done!
3. Sew C - the weekly class should help with this.
4. House F - need to hire person to do drainage stuff and backyard post - and do weeding
5. Exercise F - I will get in at least two days a week while school is in session
6. Yoga C - got a late start on this - but did start it!
7. Read F - didn't read this month
8. Meal D - need to prepare more meals and have someone over in Feb
9. Italian C - need to spread out the study time
10. Photograph A - I've posted for everyday but some of the images are lost somehow...
11. Bookkeeping D - need to get caught up for 2011 and get things done!
Not a passing score I'd say.... But I can see where I need to bump things up!

December 2010 - Went thru all drawers in dining room and living room. Reorganized and cleaned things as needed. (1 day)
Went thru all drawers and cupboards in kitchen. Reorganized, cleaned things as needed. Picked out things that had not been used or duplicates and stacked to give away. Got new shelving 'paper' and put in the shelves and cabinets that did not have new coverings. (parts of 3 days)
Straightened up guest closet and parts of garage (moved boxes from toy room to unfinished area) and backyard. Sprayed for weeds. (1 day)
Took all my hanging clothes out of my side of the closet and all contents of elfa drawers. Assessed what to keep, store and return. Cheated and put two boxes in the garage with a note to make decision after January 2012 - put about four boxes worth in stack to donate - gathered up all plastic bags to give to VLM. (1 day)
Went thru pens and tossed ones that did not work, picked some to keep and put most in a bag to leave at VLM. Sharpened all pencils and put in cup point side up. (Under 30 minutes)
Be packed car with Goodwill stuff and mrbookman donations and put new window coverings in guest bedroom.
Doesn't quite count - went thru all mail to be sure all bills paid - filed some left some in stack to file later.
Dusted and vacuumed master bedroom, hallway and office.
Be washed kitchen floor and did dishes.

November 2010 - Moved sewing stuff from master bedroom to guest bedroom. (1 day)
Did complete dusting and vacuuming downstairs - cleaned bathrooms and kitchen. (1 day) Be mopped downstairs floors.
